DA NANG, Vietnam (May 22, 2025) – Created to help individuals build strength and long-term vitality, TIA Wellness Resort's new private retreat program, ‘Strength & Recovery,’ combines personalized HIIT training sessions, recovery rituals, wellness treatments, and a high-protein plant-based meal plan to fuel performance.

This program enables guests to build strength and endurance while nourishing their bodies. Guests will also explore some of Da Nang’s most popular tourist destinations with a wellness twist.
Tailored Workouts for All Levels
At the core of this four- or seven-night retreat are two daily private workouts. Each session focuses on strength training, toning, flexibility, mobility, and endurance. One session consists of a HIIT power workout, while the second focuses on a different body part each day (such as shoulder & chest, back & arms, core strength & lower body, etc.).
“All sessions are designed without machines or free weights. We teach guests how to use their own body weight effectively — empowering them to build strength anywhere without a gym,” explained Ramon Imper, general manager of TIA Wellness Resort.
Additionally, a daily recovery ritual includes an ice bath surrounded by lush tropical plants, alternated with a private steam room and Himalayan salt sauna sessions. This combination helps soothe and repair muscles that have been worked.
Comprehensive Wellness Treatments
Two wellness treatments each day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, round out the schedule. Guests may enjoy treatments such as bamboo roll-outs, deep tissue massage, Vietnamese cupping, and Reiki. These treatments aim to reduce inflammation, support muscle repair, and restore balance to the body.
“Retreat participants will benefit from enhanced physical performance, reduced tension, better sleep, and mental clarity,” added Ramon. “As we age, strength training is crucial. Muscle mass naturally decreases over time, and this retreat directly addresses the importance of building muscle sustainably.”
The retreat's carefully designed recovery program also supports the muscles worked throughout the day. For example, guests receive a neck-and-shoulder-release treatment the day after focusing on their back and arms. After an excursion to the Marble Mountains, a deep tissue leg recovery session is timely and beneficial.
An added bonus: a visit to the Marble Mountains early in the day allows guests to see the ancient pagodas, statues, and caves without the crowds. For guests participating in the seven-day plan, there’s a second cardio session involving an early stair-climbing workout at Lady Buddha. This towering bodhisattva, carved from a single piece of marble, stands 67 meters tall on the Son Tra peninsula and is surrounded by wish-giving pagodas.
Nutritious and Delicious Meal Plans
Due to the increased activity level at the retreat, TIA’s resident experts tailor each meal plan’s calorie and protein intake to individual body weight and fitness goals. This ensures guests achieve optimum performance.
Each day begins with a nutrient-dense protein smoothie bowl—such as a Colada Protein Smoothie Bowl made with coconut, pineapple, banana, cashew butter, chia seeds, dried coconut, and protein powder. At lunch, a refreshing salad, like a vibrant tomato and strawberry salad, or a chilled cucumber and lime soup precedes a main course. Options might include chickpea and sweet potato patties or baked falafel with vegan tzatziki. Desserts can range from a salted peanut butter bar to hibiscus-poached pears.
In the evening, a nourishing two-course dinner starts with appetizers like spinach, mushroom, and almond tarts with a creamy cashew mushroom sauce, or a subtly spiced cauliflower coconut soup. Guests may savor main courses such as vegetable “lasagna” with plant-based cheese, sundried tomato sauce, and homemade avocado pesto, or a traditional Vietnamese pho with shiitake mushrooms, edamame, and bean sprouts.
Creative Expression for Inner Balance
Every day offers an optional creative workshop where guests can explore their inner landscape through art. Activities vary and include using paints, markers, and crayons to create hands representing their past and future. Participants can also decorate masks that reflect their inner world and how they express themselves outwardly.
Tools for Continued Growth
At the end of the retreat, guests leave with a personalized at-home program. They also gain access to no-equipment workout videos on WELL with TIA, which is a new well-being YouTube channel created by TIA Wellness Resort. This channel shares the resort’s extensive class offerings—from yoga to breathwork to HIIT.

‘Strength & Recovery’ is the third private retreat option that TIA offers year-round.
